When I woke up this ~~afternoon~~ morning, I intended to clean my house and tidy up my

hp_beholder fic, so of course I've spent most of the day eating junk food in my pajamas and blinking at shiny things on the internet.

Thusly, I come bearing fic recs.

Harry Potter:

An Unexpected Gift by

bethbethbeth [Snape/McGonagall, PG13]

This is absolutely delightful. The tone is almost playful, but also perfectly sharp around the edges, and Snape and McGonagall's dynamic is spot on.

The Hunger Games:

the war outside our door keeps raging on by

novelized [Finnick/Gale, adult]

This is exquisite. When I finished it, I was incoherent for a good five minutes. All I could do was wave my hands around and think yes. this. forever repeatedly.

I also have some art recs, because I've spent more time on Tumblr today that I'd like to admit. I'm still not sold on it as a functional, interactive fandom platform, but I've decided it isn't completely useless, in a it is what it is kind of way.
