Okay, so. This is basically the hardboiled, 1930's Stannis-is-a-film-noir-private-detective AU I have wanted my entire life. Davos is his right hand! Melisandre is the psychic consultant he never listens to! Jon runs a low-market bar he inherited from the Old Bear. Glorious AU scenario is glorious, and also absolutely flawless in execution.
