Harry Potter, Harry Potter -- I love him. Everything about him. Even the capslocks. He could be kind of a dick sometimes, particularly in the last three books, but at the end of the day he was a good kid with a kind heart who loved his friends more than anything.
Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce, M*A*S*H -- Hawkeye Pierce was my first fancrush. I must have been... I don't know, seven or eight. He was sassy and confident and he had a fantastically ridiculous sense of humor, even while being in the worst place ever.
Qhorin "Halfhand", A Song of Ice and Fire -- This badass. He lost half his sword hand fighting wildlings, so he calmly learned how to be even deadlier with the other.
Haymitch Abernathy, The Hunger Games -- He was such a jackass, particularly in the first book, but I still felt so bad for him. Not just because he survived a Games himself, but the mentoring... watching kids from his District die year after year. I can't even imagine.
Hagrid, Harry Potter -- I know a lot of people either don't like or don't care about Hagrid, but he's all right by me. He meant well, even when he was awkward, and he loved Harry so much.

My son is at his dad's today, so I'm pretty much going to spend the day working on either

I do like Harry Potter myself. Good lad, good lad. Haven't watched M*A*S*H in a many a year, alas.

M*A*S*H is one of those things where I won't watch it for ages, and then I'll suddenly want to see it badly, and end up marathoning two seasons back to back.
